Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is a popular American singer and actor. The parents of Kristen Bell are Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. She was raised and birthed in Huntington Woods Michigan. Her mother is Polish and her father German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen discovered a passion in the performing arts from a young stage. She attended her audition in 1992 and was offered an appearance on Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell 13, who was 13 when her mother signed as an agent was cast on advertisements for newspapers and television. Also, she began private acting classes around this time. Bell played an uncredited character in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School and was in the band and the drama club. The Wizard of Oz production at the high school she attended earned her the leading Dorothy character. Bell went to The Tisch School of the Arts which she attended to study Musical Theater within New York City. Bell quit her college in 2001 after she was cast in the role Becky to play Tom Sawyer. In 2001, Bell made her first credit debut as Becky in Pootie Tang. The film was cut, however, her scene was cut from the film, and her appearance was only in the credits. Bell appeared alongside Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
